New Online & Mobile Banking

Banking should be fast, easy, and convenient. With our new Online (Desktop) & Mobile Banking System, SF Fire Credit Union offers members the latest options to stay connected to their money. Many financial services you rely on are now more convenient than ever. We have partnered with an established vendor to provide updated and improved tools, features, and security.

*Please note: Important preparations for launching the new system will require a temporary freeze on scheduling new Bill Pay transactions and transferring money through Online Banking from November 10th until November 14th. Please review the related article

New Features & Services:

Online (Desktop) Banking

Features Description Platform
Intuitive interface Easily find the tools and information you need. Online Banking
Personalization Customize your account dashboard (your home page) with tools and features that are important to you. You can also add a profile picture on the desktop site which will also show on the Mobile Banking application. Online Banking
Usernames See all your accounts under multiple memberships with a single log-in. Usernames are separate and unique for every member. Primary account owners (name and Social Security Number listed first on the membership application) and joint owners will no longer need to share a login. Online Banking
Account Aggregation See all your account balances at multiple financial institutions with aggregation tools. Will be available by end of the year 2017. Online Banking
Shared Access Invite other members of the Credit Union to share limited access to your account information. You’ll be able to choose between different levels of access: View Account Details, Transfer Funds, and Pay Bills. Online Banking
Secured Messaging Easily exchange messages and important documents with the Credit Union within Online Banking. Subject categories will allow you to route your inquiries to the right people. Online Banking
Expanded Multi-Factor Authentication (Security) Receive one-time security codes sent via email or text. Online Banking

Mobile Banking

Features Description Platform
Quick Login and Touch ID Use a PIN (Personal Identification Number) instead of a Password to quickly log in to the application. Apple or Android users with fingerprint authentication enabled can also log in with Touch ID. Mobile Banking
Push Notifications Receive your requested alerts directly through the Mobile Banking application as pop-up messages on your device. Mobile Banking
Card Controls Disable your credit or debit card and turn it back on with the swipe of a button. Use it to immediately disable a lost or stolen card. Will be available early 2018. Mobile Banking
Balance Peek View selected accounts without logging in when you launch the app. Only checking or savings accounts are available. Mobile Banking

Better Services

Features Description
Accounts View account details, transactions, and balance history for your accounts across multiple memberships, and across financial institutions through Account Aggregation, which will be available by the end of the year 2017.
Budgets Categorize your expenses and set limits, with email and text alerts to help you monitor and manage your spending.
Savings Goals Set up goals such as “Hawaii Vacation” tied to your accounts. Allocate portions of each balance to different goals. Easily track your progress towards these goals through email and text alerts.
Notifications Manage your account with alerts available by email, text, or push notifications. Options include Regulated Savings Transfers, CD Maturities, Budget and Savings Goals, and Online Banking Access. The e-Alerts you have established in the current outgoing Online Banking system will not be carried over to the new system, so you will need to review your notification options and establish new alerts.
