The credit union and its members support a range of programs for the fire community, including the San Francisco Firefighters Cancer Prevention Foundation and the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program. Over the years, we’re proud to have provided significant levels of financial support to these and other initiatives. This active support is just part of how we thank the heroic first responders who serve and protect our community.
The San Francisco Firefighters Cancer Prevention Foundation was formed in 2006 for the purpose of early detection and prevention of cancer in both active and retired members of the San Francisco Fire Department.
Every year, the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program does a world of good for the children of our community. In 2018, 300 firefighters and friends volunteered their time to distribute over 200,000 toys to more than 40,000 disadvantaged children.
