Secured Messaging: What It Is and How to Use It

More and more financial business is done remotely: Wire Transfers or requesting additional checking or savings accounts. Certain account inquiries or requests require that you give us personal or financial information that should not be shared via email. Secured Messaging allows you to exchange this information with us while protecting your privacy.

Safe Channel for Sharing Information

Secured Messages are sent and received within our Online & Mobile Banking system. Therefore, you can safely provide information such as your member number as nothing is transmitted via unsecured channels such as  email accounts (Yahoo!, Gmail, etc.).

Convenient Access

You can access the Message Center through either Online Banking or the Mobile Banking application. In Online Banking, you'll find a link to the Message Center in the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard, linked to your icon and Username display. In Mobile Banking, you can find the Message Center link in the menu or at the top of your dashboard (look for the envelope icon).

Pre-set Subject Lines For Fast Responses

When you compose a new Secured Message to us, you'll find a list of pre-defined subject lines, such as Wire Transfers. Using the appropriate subject line will route your message to the most appropriate department to respond to your request.
