Online Bill Pay & Transfer FREEZE: November 10th - November 14th

New Online & Mobile Banking: Freeze on Bill Pay and Transfers

SF Fire Credit Union is excited to announce the launch of the new Online & Mobile Banking System on November 14th. The new system includes new features and tools such as unique Usernames, Secured Messaging, and Push Notifications to help you monitor your account.

Necessary maintenance leading to the launch date will impact your use of Bill Pay and the Transfer Money Tool.

Bill Pay Freeze

We’ll be converting your existing payees and scheduled payments from the outgoing Online Banking System to the new System. To ensure no information is lost, we’ll be placing a freeze on scheduling new payments in Bill Pay between November 10th and November 14th. This freeze will begin at the end of the day (midnight) on November 9th.

Any payments you schedule on or before November 9th – including recurring payments – will still be processed. This includes payments you schedule to send between November 10th and the 14th.

You can also initiate payments directly with merchants by giving them your debit/credit card number, or your routing and account number information.

Money Transfer Freeze

As with the Bill Pay Service, we’ll be converting your saved transfer accounts and scheduled payments to the new Online & Mobile Banking System. To ensure no transfer information is lost, we’ll be placing a freeze on scheduling new transfers through Online or Mobile Banking between November 10th and November 14th. This freeze will begin at the end of the day (midnight) on November 9th.

This freeze will apply both to transfers to other SF Fire Credit Union accounts as well as transfers to other Financial Institutions.

Any transfers you schedule on or before November 9th – including recurring transfers – will still be processed. This includes transfers you schedule to send between November 10th and the 14th.

As an alternative, you can make internal transfers – transfers between SF Fire Credit Union accounts or transfers from an SF Fire Credit Union account to a loan at SF Fire CU – at the branch or by calling the Contact Center at 888.499.3473 (FIRE) between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. You can also initiate transfers to an external account by contacting the external institution – as an example, giving Bank of America your routing number and checking account number for your account here.

Deadline for New Billpay Transactions or Money Transfers

Any Bill Pay transactions or Money Transfers you schedule by the end of day on Thursday, November 9th will still be processed.
