It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the 57th Annual Meeting of the Members of SF Fire Credit Union. This is your Credit Union and your participation is important, necessary and appreciated. Looking back on 2007 reveals a year that showed continued success and commitment to our promise of exceptional service, honoring tradition, and bringing innovation to our membership.

Service

We strive to provide all of you with an exceptional service experience, going above and beyond what is expected. These efforts have not gone unnoticed by our members, as SF Fire Credit Union now achieves member service scores that are among the highest in the nation.

Tradition

This Credit Union was founded by firefighters, for firefighters some 57 years ago. We consider it an honor – and our obligation – to work hard for the financial well being of Firefighters and those who support them. In 2007 we saw our commitment to this cause acknowledged with a #1 nationwide ranking when measured on returning high value to members in terms of products, service and pricing.

Innovation

We continue to remain at the forefront of the financial services industry, and are always seeking out new products, services and delivery channels to make doing business with us easier and more value-laden.

Initiatives in 2007 included:

Free FICO Scores & Education: Members now have the ability to view their FICO Credit Score on a quarterly basis – within online banking, and printed on their quarterly statements. It’s a quick and easy way for our members to monitor their credit, whether the goal is to raise their score or protect it.

Free Identity Theft Victim Resolution Services: Members who have been the unfortunate victims of identity theft now have access to full-service identity theft resolution assistance at no cost. This service encompasses every aspect of recovery and is provided by trusted business partner Identity Fraud Inc, who provides our members with the level of expertise and service our members rightfully expect.

Business Continuity Planning: Great effort was put into creating a viable Business Continuity Plan, allowing SF Fire Credit Union to be prepared to provide you with minimally interrupted service in the event of a disaster.

I am pleased to report that we have brought you these innovations while continuing to remain financially solid, and experiencing continued well-managed growth.

Thank you for your continued support. I welcome any and all feedback as to how SF Fire Credit Union can improve serving the financial needs of you and your family.
