The Credit Union is pleased to announce that this year’s fundraising endeavors (as outlined below) raised $4,325.40 for this organization which our members have always held in high esteem. In addition to the funds raised, the Credit Union sponsored a $5,400 ‘shopping spree’ at TARGET on December 22nd to help out with gift items that the Program might be running short on in the remaining days before Christmas.
Visit from Santa
Santa (a.k.a. Bob “Sarge” Cuff) had pictures taken with over 80 members (both small and not-so-small) in the lobby of our California Street Branch on December 8th. He lent his ear to all and everybody received a candy cane and dalmation pup – whether they’ve been naughty or nice in 2009.
Successful Employee Bake Sale
Cookies, cupcakes and other baked goods enticed members at our Annual Employee Bake Sale at the Main Branch on December 8th. Staff at the Credit Union volunteered their time and baking skills and raised $872 – with all proceeds going to the Toy Program.
Branch, Call Center & Online Donations Now Open
The Credit Union accepted donations on behalf of the SF Fire Fighters Toy Program in our Branches, through our Call Center and Online Banking – with over $3,453 collected from our generous and supportive membership.
